a function of the motor only and does not

Rated Mtr Speed is defined
as the synchronous speed minus the slip.
At times, the motor manufacturer will
place the synchronous speed on the data
nameplate. The Adaptive Tune
procedure on page 152 calculates the
amount of slip of the motor.
