Method 2
- Use the dropdown menu to select the method, if any, that should appear second in
the selected authentication list. This is the method that will be used if the first method times out. If
you select a method that does not time out as the second method, the third method will not be

selected authentication list. This is the method that will be used if the second method times out. If
you select a method that does not time out as the third method, the fourth method will not be
tried.
Method 4
- Use the dropdown menu to select the method, if any, that should appear fourth in the
selected authentication list.
DOT1X
- Authentication method used for Dot1x access. Possible field values are:
Method
- Use the dropdown menu to select the method that should appear in the selected
authentication list. The options are:
Undefined
- the authentication method is disabled.
IAS
- the user's ID and password in Internal Authentication Server Database will be used for
authentication
Local
- the user's locally stored ID and password will be used for authentication.
None
- the user is not authenticated.
Radius
- the user's ID and password will be authenticated using the RADIUS serve
