IP Address
- Enter the IP address for the interface.
Subnet Mask
- Enter the subnet mask for the interface. This is also referred to as the
subnet/network mask, and defines the portion of the interface's IP address that is used to identify the
attached network.
IP MTU
- Specifies the maximum size of IP packets sent on an interface. Valid range is 68 bytes to
link MTU. When the IP MTU is unconfigured, the router uses the link MTU as the IP MTU. The IP
MTU is the maximum frame size minus the length of the layer 2 header. By default IP MTU is 1500.
Non-Configurable Data
Routing Interface Status
- This field indicates that the specified IP interface is up or down for IPv4
routing.
Link Speed Data Rate
- The physical link data rate of the specified interface.
Active State
- The state of the specified interface is either Active or Inactive. An interface is
considered active if it the link is up and it is in forwarding state.
MAC Address
- The burned-in physical address of the specified interface. The format is six two-digit
hexadecimal numbers separated by colons, for example 00:06:29:32:81:40.

Submit
- Update the switch with the values on this screen. If you want the switch to retain the new
values across a power cycle, you must perform a save.
Delete IP Address
- Delete the IP Address from the interface. Note that the address can not be
deleted if there are secondary addresses configured.
Restart DHCP IP Address
- Restart the IP Address learned through DHCP.
Secondary IP Address
- Proceed to the Secondary IP Address configuration screen.
Display DHCP Parameters
- Displays the DHCP Lease parameters. This button will be activated if
the selected IP interface has an active DHCP lease.
Refresh
- Refreshes the data on the screen with the present state of the data in the switch.
