snmptrap mode
This command activates or deactivates an SNMP trap. Enabled trap receivers are active (able to receive
traps). Disabled trap receivers are inactive (not able to receive traps).
Syntax
snmptrap mode <name> <ipAddr|ipv6Addr|hostname>
no snmptrap mode <name> <ipAddr|ipv6Addr|hostname>
<name> -
SNMP trap name.
<ipAddr|ipv6Addr|hostname> -
an IPv4 or IPv6 address or hostname.
no -
This command deactivates an SNMP trap. Trap receivers are inactive (not able to receive
traps).

This command configures an SNMP trap port.
Syntax
snmptrap port <name> <ipAddr|ipv6Addr|hostname> <port>
no snmptrap port <name> <ipAddr|ipv6Addr|hostname>
<name> -
SNMP trap name.
<ipAddr|ipv6Addr|hostname> -
an IPv4 or IPv6 address or hostname.
<port> -
a port number between 1 and 65535.
no -
This command resets an SNMP trap port number to default port 162.
