Description
Input/Output / Dig.Out 41 / 42 / ...Setup Logic Output
Logic Output Action
Used to select the binary output function.
• Off: Used to deactivate the binary output.
• F/R Signal: Used to have the binary output signal the flow direction.
• Alarm Signal: Used to have the binary output signal the pending alarm. The alarm is selected in the “„...Alarm Config”
menu.
• Dual Range: The binary output is activated when measuring range 2 (Qm Max 2 / Qv Max 2) has been selected. This
selection is only available if the “Dual Range” parameter has been configured for Qm or Qv.
Active Mode
Used to select the switching behavior for the binary output.
• Active High: Normally open contact.
• Active Low: Normally closed contact.
Default setting: Active High.
Input/Output / Dig.Out 41 / 42- / ...Alarm Config
General Alarm
Used to select the error messages signaled via the binary output 41 / 42.
Available only if the “Logic Output Action” parameter was set to Alarm Signal.
Default setting: Off.
Qv Volumeflow Max
Qv Volumeflow Min
EPD
Input/Output / Dig.Out 51 / 52
Mode
Used to select the operating mode for the digital output 51 / 52. The “Follow DO 41 / 42, 90° Shift, 180° Shift” operating
modes are only available if the digital output 51 / 52 has been configured as a pulse output.
• Off: Used to deactivate the digital output.
• Logic: The digital output is used as a binary output (information on this function can be found under the “...Setup Logic
Output” parameter).
• Follow DO 41 / 42: The digital output 51 / 52 follows the pulses of digital output 41 / 42. This function depends on the
setting made for the “Outp. Flow Direction” parameter.
• 90° Shift: Phase-shifted output by 90° of the same pulses as for the digital output 41 / 42.
• 180° Shift: Phase-shifted output by 180° of the same pulses as for the digital output 41 / 42.
Default setting: Logic.
Outp. Flow Direction
Used to select the flow direction, in which the pulse output / frequency output outputs the selected process value.
This parameter is only available if the digital output 51 / 52 has been configured in the “Mode” parameter with Follow DO 41 /
42 .
• No pulses are output when “Forward & Reverse” is selected. Only the digital output 41 / 42 is active.
• When “Forward” is selected, pulses for the upstream flow are output via digital output 41 / 42, whereas pulses for the
downstream flow are output via digital output 51 / 52.
• When “Reverse” is selected, pulses for the downstream flow are output via digital output 41 / 42, whereas pulses for the
upstream flow are output via digital output 51 / 52.
...Setup Logic Output
Used to select the “...Setup Logic Output” submenu with
.
Available only, if for “Mode” Logic was selected.
...Alarm Config
Used to select the “...Alarm Config” submenu with
.
Available only, if for “Mode” Logic was selected.
