Change from one to two columns
NOTICE
If the O-ring gasket is seated incorrectly or damaged, this
may have an adverse effect on the housing protection
class.
Follow the instructions in
Opening and closing the terminal
box
on page 22 to open and close the housing safely.
Note
The replacement transmitter is supplied together with a
SensorMemory module. The calibration data is stored on the
SensorMemory module.
The SensorMemory module is located in the terminal box for the
replacement transmitter and has to be fitted in the transmitter.
Information on how to install SensorMemory modules can be
found in the chapter on
Replacing the transmitter
on page 78.
Proceed as follows to replace the transmitter:
1.
Switch off the power supply.
2.
Unscrew and remove the cover.
3.
Disconnect the signal cable (remove the sealing
compound as needed).
4.
Install the new transmitter as specified in the chapter on
Installation
on page 16.
5. Fit the SensorMemory module from the terminal box for
the new transmitter in the transmitter.
6.
Make the electrical connection in accordance with the
information given in the chapter on
Electrical
connections
on page 26.
7.
Attach and screw on cover again.
8.
After activation of the power supply, the transmitter
automatically loads the system data from the
SensorMemory.
