11 Recycling and disposal
11.1 Dismounting
WARNING
Risk of injury due to process conditions.
The process conditions, for example high pressures and
temperatures, toxic and aggressive measuring media, can give
rise to hazards when dismantling the device.
• If necessary, wear suited personal protective equipment
during disassembly.
• Before disassembly, make sure that the process conditions
do not pose any safety risks.
• Depressurize and empty the device / piping, allow to cool
and purge if necessary.
Bear the following points in mind when dismantling the device:
• Switch off the power supply.
• Disconnect electrical connections.
• Allow the device / piping to cool and depressurize and
empty. Collect any escaping medium and dispose of it in
accordance with environmental guidelines.
• Use suited tools to disassemble the device, taking the
weight of the device into consideration.
• If the device is to be used at another location, the device
should preferably be packaged in its original packing so
that it cannot be damaged.

11.2 Disposal
This product and its packaging is manufactured using materials
that can be recycled by specialist recycling companies.
Compliance with the information below is required for disposal:
• This product is not subject to the requirements set out by
the WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC or corresponding
national legislation (ElektroG in Germany for example).
• The product must be disposed of at a specialist recycling
facility. Do not discard the product at municipal waste
collection points. Municipal waste collection points can
only be used for the disposal of privately used products in
accordance with the WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC.
• If it is not possible to properly dispose of the used device,
our customer service department is prepared to accept
and dispose of the used device for a fee.
Note
Products that are marked with this symbol may not be
disposed of through municipal garbage collection
points.
11.3 Information regarding the RoHS Directive
(2011/65/EU)
The products supplied by the manufacturer are not subject to the
current scope of prohibited materials or the German Electrical
and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG).
We will be able to do without these substances when developing
new products in the future, provided the required components are
available on the market in good time.
