This field contains the value associated

with bits 24 to 32 which signify a terminal count. When the
time-stamp counter is greater than or equal to this value,
then time-stamp epoch values contained in bits 33 and 34 of
the time-stamp are incremented.The default value of 0x1DD
corresponds to an epoch interval of ~32 S. The switch core
time-out value is equal to two times the epoch interval.
Thus, the default value corresponds to a switch core time-
out value of 64 S.
