open
the
drive;
no
user
adjustments
or
serviceable
parts
are
inside.
CAUTION:
A
class
1
laser
is
contained
in
the
device.
Do
not
attempt
to
operate
the
drive
while
it
is
disassembled.
Do
not
attempt
to
open
the
covers
of
the
drive
as
it
is
not
serviceable
and
is
replaced
as
a
unit.

Removal
1.
Turn
off
power
as
described
in
“Powering
Off
the
System”
on
page
415.
2.
If
you
have
not
already
done
so,
open
the
front
door
of
the
rack
unit.
3.
Loosen
the
two
thumbscrews
that
attach
the
front
bezel
to
the
I/O
drawer.
4.
Grasp
both
sides
of
the
front
bezel
and
pull
it
off
the
drawer.
5.
Push
the
release
latch
to
the
left
and
pull
out
the
CD-ROM.

Disconnect
the
cables
from
the
CD-ROM.
