Parameters
ipv6-address/prefix-length
: IPv6 address and IPv6 prefix. The
ipv6-address
and
prefix-length
arguments jointly specify the prefix of an IPv6 address in the EUI-64
format.
Description
Use the
ipv6 address
eui-64
command to configure a site-local address or global
unicast address in the EUI-64 format for an interface.
Use the
undo ipv6 address eui-64
command to remove the configured site-local
address or global unicast address in the EUI-64 format for an interface.
By default, no site-local or global unicast address in EUI-64 format is configured for an
interface.
Examples
# Configure an IPv6 address in EUI-64 format for VLAN-interface 100.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface vlan-interface 100
