Parameters
flood-count flooding-count
: Specifies the maximum number of LSPs to be sent in the
fast-flooding process, ranging from 1 to 15. The default is 5.
max-timer-interval flooding-interval
: Specifies the delay interval (in milliseconds)
between when it is enabled and when it begins, ranging from 10 to 50000. The default
is 10.
level-1
: Specifies to configure fast-flooding on
level-1
only.
level-2
: Specifies to configure fast-flooding on
level-2
only. If no level is configured, the
fast-flooding will be available on both
level-1
and
level-2
by default.
Description
Use the
flash-flood
command to enable IS-IS LSP fast flooding and configure related
parameters, including the maximum number of LSPs to be sent and the delay time
before flooding.
Use the
undo flash-flood
command to disable fast-flooding.
Fast flooding is disabled by default.
Using this command can speed up LSP flooding that is triggered by topology changes,
so as to reduce LSDB convergence time.
Examples
# Enable fast flooding and configure the maximum LSPs be sent as 10 and the delay
time as 100 milliseconds.
