2.5-M/E and 3-M/E Main Panel
DSK Subpanel
In both 2.5 and 3-M/E systems the DSK subpanel (
of the three DSK keyers. This subpanel works in parallel with the DSK
Keyers subpanel in a 2.5-M/E system.

Keyer Delegation Button Group
The
DSK 1-3
buttons determine the next transition in the DSK or act as an
additional next transition button if a DSK Link is active is any of the M/Es
(3-M/E system only). They can also be used for Hold to Preview (see
below), and momentary delegation (see
Momentary Delegation on page 97
Hold to Preview
When setting up a key, it is often desirable to see a key that is not on air or
part of the next transition. Holding down a
DSK 1-3
delegation button will
replace that preview output with a representation of that key over the
current background. User preference settings determine whether this
feature is enabled for these buttons, whether other on-air keys are shown,
and how long the preview lasts. The
Show Key
button is also available to
view the actual key control signal. See

DSK Cut and Mix Button Groups
Two groups of DSK transition buttons, DSK Cut and DSK Mix, are pro-
vided to allow independent cut and mix of the DSK keyers.
