Zodiak User Manual

Section 3 — Control Surface Description

 

Disk Drives

The Zodiak file system includes a CD-ROM drive installed in the side of the 
Menu panel used to load software files and an external 250 Mb Zip disk 
connected to the menu panel used for saving and loading configuration 
and effect files. The system also includes two 1.44 MB floppy drives, one 
located inside the Main panel tub and the other in the Video Processor 
frame. The floppy drives are used for maintenance and troubleshooting 
purposes only.

For instructions on installing software, refer to the Zodiak Installation and 
Service Manual or the latest release notes included with software releases.

The basic Zodiak system also houses two hard drives, one in the Main 
panel to support the Menu panel display, and another in the Video Pro-
cessor frame for all non-volatile and on-line storage of effects and configu-
ration information.
