the
Shift
button is turned off. If the user toggles the
Shift
button to the state
that is opposite of the currently selected crosspoint, the button will blink,
indicating this out of sync shift condition.
In No Shift mode the Shift button acts like a standard source selection
button. In this mode no shifted sources are available on the bus.
Re-entry Buttons
The Re-entry buttons are used to select the output of one M/E for use as an
input source to another M/E. The signals are routed internally. For
example, an output of M/E 1 can be sent to M/E 2 or M/E 3 (PGM/PST),
and an output of M/E 2 can be sent to M/E 1 or M/E 3 (PGM/PST).
The PGM PST KEY M/E re-entry buttons are labeled with additional
macro capabilities (
). When macro delegation is on (
Macro
is illu-
minated), holding down one of these buttons momentarily activates that
macro mode (either Record or Delay).

Background Buses
Pressing a button on an M/E or PGM/PST background A or B bus directly
selects the source mapped to that button, and the source button will go
high tally if on-air, or low tally if not. Crosspoint mapping is identical on
all Background buses.
