Section 3 — Control Surface Description
The single bus Remote Aux panels control only one Aux bus. The multi-
destination panel has 18 Aux bus delegation buttons that may be config-
ured to control any of the available Zodiak Aux buses. Aux bus delegation
mapping and source to button mapping is described in detail in
Button
Mapping on page 331 .
When an Aux bus controlled by a multi-destination Remote Aux panel is
part of an Aux pair, the A and B Channels of the Aux pair can be assigned
to different Aux bus delegation buttons to allow changing sources on either
channel as described in
Mapping Aux Bus Pairs on page 336 .
32-Crosspoint Remote Aux Panels
Two types of 32-crosspoint Remote Aux panels are available as shown in
Figure 92 and Figure 93 .

Each panel has 32 primary source selection buttons and 32 shifted buttons.
Four secondary source selection buttons on each panel can select the
outputs from the switcher M/E and PGM/PST A buses.

The readout display on the 2 RU panel will indicate the name of the Remote
Aux bus after it is selected on the delegation bus or a source name after it
is selected on the source selection bus.
The other source select modifier buttons are described below.
