Zodiak User Manual

Section 5 — System Operation

Note

If you want to access the saved User or Suite Profile as buttons from the Pro-
files menu (

), you must save to the appropriate default Suite or User

folder in the Profiles directory on the Frame:C or Zip drive.

Touch the File Name data pad and enter the name you wish the saved
file to have.

4.

Touch the

Save

button.

CAUTION

Saving a file with the same name as an existing file will overwrite that file
without displaying any precautionary message.

To Load a Preference or Source Memory File:

1.

Navigate to the directory containing the file you wish to load, using the
buttons in the upper right.

2.

Touch the icon of the desired file so it is highlighted.

3.

Touch the

Load

button.

CAUTION

The Load button immediately replaces information the Zodiak system is cur-
rently using with the selected file information. When configuration files are
loaded, significant changes to Zodiak system operation are possible.

User and Suite profiles saved to the Profiles folder can be loaded from
the Profiles menu as described in the next section.

Profiles Menu

The Profiles menu is used to load User and Suite Profiles saved in the
Frame:C/User/Profiles folder. Profiles provide a rapid method of loading
sets of preferences for common activities, such as shows that are done daily.
Two types of profiles (User, Suite) are available. Each User profile contains
all the User Pref settings, and each Suite profile contains all the Suite Prefs
settings. Source Memory settings are not included in a Suite Profile, but can
be saved and loaded from the Daily Setups Save-Load menu.

The Profiles menu can load Suite and User Profiles only from the default
directories (SUITE and USER) on the Video Processor frame or Zip drive
listed in

. User and Suite Preference files saved in these default

directories appear as buttons on the Profiles menu (

).
