4.4 Registration Mark Distance Adjustment
The dstance between regstraton marks can be adjusted automatcally. If 5 mm was selected for CUSTOM,
for example, and the dstance between regstraton marks was read as 312 mm, any dstance less than 5
mm s rounded off to the nearest whole number. In ths case, the dstance between the regstraton marks s
assumed to be 310 mm and dstance adjustment s performed accordngly.
(1) Press the
[PAUSE] key
to select PAUSE mode.
(2) Press the
[NEXT] key
repeatedly untl the followng menu s dsplayed.

[F1] key
(MARK) to dsplay the regstraton mark functons selecton menu.

For manual dstance adjustment, press the
[F2] key
(USER).
For custom dstance adjustment, press the
[F3] key
(CUSTOM).
For automatc dstance adjustment, press the
[F4] key
(STANDARD). The dstance adjustment value s rounded up
or down to the nearest 5 mm, 10 mm, or 50 mm accordng to the regstraton mark dstance settng.

(1) Perform regstraton mark detecton. (See Secton 4.13, "Regstraton Mark Detecton".
(2) After detecton of the number of ponts set n the regstraton mark mode has been performed, the menu shown
below s dsplayed.

The display’s first line (M) shows the distance between points 1 and 2 as read by the plotter. Input the actual
dstance (the data dstance) n the second lne (S). Use the

the value.
