Chapter 5 FUNCTION SETTINGS AND OPERATIONS
Setting the Low Movement Speed
Ths settng determnes the slower speed when one of the
[ ] [ ] [ ] [ ]
keys
s ntally pressed, and
the length (dstance) before faster movement begns.
(1) Press the
[PAUSE] key
to select PAUSE mode.
(2) Press the
[NEXT] key
repeatedly untl the followng menu s dsplayed.

(OPTION2) to dsplay the menu shown below.

(LOW SPEED) to dsplay the low-speed settng screen.

Press the
[F3] key
(LOW SPEED) to specfy the speed for low-speed movement. Press the
[F4] key
(LENG) to
specfy the length (dstance) moved before the low-speed movement changes to hgh-speed movement begns.
Use the
[ ]
or
[ ]
key
to change the numerc value and then press the
[ENTER] key
to confirm your selections.
To cancel your selectons, press the
[NEXT] key
.
Setting range: [LOW SPEED] 1 to 30 (cm/s) [Default value: 2]
[LENG] 0 to 30 (cm/s), MAX [Default value: 10]
If 0 was selected for the LENG parameter, the pen carrage starts movng at the hgh speed. If the
[NEXT] key
s
held down, however, the pen carrage moves at the low speed.
If MAX was selected for the LENG parameter, the pen carrage moves at the low speed wthout swtchng to the hgh
speed. If the
[NEXT] key
s pressed durng pen carrage movement, however, the pen carrage swtches to the hgh
speed.
(Default values: LOW-SPEED: 2 cm/s; LENG: 2 cm)
(6) Press the
[PAUSE] key
to cancel PAUSE mode.
This setting is retained in the plotter's internal memory even while the plotter is turned off.
