Chapter 5 FUNCTION SETTINGS AND OPERATIONS

Enabling or Disabling Tool Up Movement [Default setting: DISABLED]
When the plotter receves commands that specfy consecutve tool movements n rased status, ths functon
determines whether to move the tool to each coordinate point or to move the tool directly to the final coordinate point.
When ENABLED s selected, the tool moves to each coordnate pont n sequence.
When DISABLED is selected, the tool moves directly to the final coordinate point.

Setting the PAUSE Function Display [Default setting: MENU]
Ths functon determnes what wll be dsplayed on the LCD when the
[PAUSE] key
s pressed durng a cuttng or
plottng operaton.
When HOLDING s selected, the cuttng or plottng operaton s paused and a CONTINUE/QUIT selecton menu s
dsplayed.
When MENU s selected, the cuttng or plottng operaton s paused and the PAUSE menu s dsplayed.

Enabling or Disabling the Beeper [Default setting: ENABLED]
Ths functon determnes whether or not the beeper sounds each tme a key on the control panel s pressed.
When ENABLED s selected, the beeper sounds
When DISABLED s selected, the beeper doesn't sound.

Enabling or Disabling the [ENTER] Key when a Tool Exchange Command is Received
[Default setting: DISABLED]
Ths functon determnes whether or not to use the
[ENTER] key
when a tool exchange command s receved.
When ENABLED s selected, a tool exchange operaton s not performed untl the
[ENTER] key
s pressed. Select
ths settng when you only want to use tool holder 1.
When DISABLED s selected, a tool exchange operaton s performed automatcally.

Circle Command Resolution Setting [Default setting: DEFAULT]
When the HP-GL command mode s selected, ths functon determnes whether the resoluton s automatcally set or
fixed at the default value of 5 degrees when a circle command for a pen plotter is output.
