Invasive Blood Pressure Tests

The invasive blood pressure (BP) tests provide a method of verification
for both BP connectors (

BP1, BP2

BP1/3

and

BP2/4

) of a monitor

equipped with this optional function. Follow these steps:

1. Set up the patient simulator as follows:

Blood pressure (BP) polarity – POS, if required.

BP output – 0 mmHg.

BP transducer output –

5 µV

olts.

BP Connector Tests

1. Connect the BP simulator cable from the BLOOD PRESSURE 1 -

120/80 connector of the patient simulator to the enabled

connectors you will be testing on the monitor.
