Service Menus
Main Menu Service Mode Menu
The Service Mode menu option items provide the user access to several
general and technical built-in software functions of the monitor. Only
persons responsible for configuring and maintaining the monitor should
access the service mode menu option items.
WARNING
The Service Mode menu is intended for use only by
qualified service technicians. Experimentation with
service mode menu option items can be detrimental to
the monitor. Lost patient data, damaged operating
system software for the monitor, even network related
problems are but a few examples of problems that can be
induced as the result of tampering with service mode
menu option items.
Access the Service Mode
Access the Service Mode menu starting from the Main menu.
1. Select
MORE MENUS > MONITOR SETUP > SERVICE MODE >
2. Enter password using the
Trim Knob
control to select the day and
month from monitor screen with leading zeros. (e.g. July 4 = 0407).
About Service Mode Menu Option Items
The Service Mode menu is used for initial setup and configuration as well
as for troubleshooting. ALWAYS exercise caution when using any of
these password-protected functions.
The service technician can use the Service Mode menu to:
relay software information to design engineers;
calibrate and troubleshoot NBP functions of the monitor;
set admit menu options, operating mode of the monitor, and monitor
default password;
configure the monitor unit name, bed number and Internet address
for use on the network; and
enter or change the time and date on the monitor.
Do NOT use ANY of these options unless specifically instructed to do so.
