Field Replaceable Units and Upgrades: 

Display Assembly

For the Dash 4000 monitor, use these additonal clues to identify 
where the display flex cable is folded in the monitor:

Green-colored display shield (NEC display) — folds up from the 
bottom of the display assembly. Refer to the Dash 3000/4000 
service manual, CD ROM PN 2000966-271B, to replace NEC 
display components.

‹

Gold-colored display shield with GE PN 2016792-001 (Sharp 
display) — folds over from the right side of the display.

5. To prevent damaging the display flex cable, position the display 

assembly for the monitor you are servicing.
