Note:
The following procedures can be operated only when the setting of [ROUTE SE-
LECT] is set as [IN].
1. Press the
MENU
key to open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the
left button
.
3. Select [ROUTE LIST], then press the
left button
.
4. Select a route to change, then press the
left button
.
A confirmation message appears.
5. Select [RUN], then press the
left button
.
[ROUTE NAME/ENTER COMMENT] window appears.
6. Select [RUN], then press the
left button
.
[ROUTE TURN POINT LIST] window appears.
7. Select a waypoint to skip, then press
WPT
key.
The name of selected waypoint, [---] will be displayed in [DISTANCE] and [TTG].
Note:
Press
WPT
key again to cancel skipping the waypoint and confirm that [---
] is not displayed.
8. Close the menu.
How to set the refresh method for waypoints
When your vessel arrives at a waypoint, the waypoint is automatically switched to the
next sequential waypoint. You can select the switching from two choices, [WPT ON
VERTICAL LINE] and [ARRIVE ALERT RANGE].
[WPT ON VERTICAL LINE]: Automatically switches the waypoint to the next sequen-
tial waypoint when the vessel enters the arrival alarm area or the vessel passes an
imaginary perpendicular line passing through the center of the destination waypoint.
(Refer to section 5.7 about the arrival alert.)
[ARRIVE ALERT RANGE]: Automatically switches the waypoint to the next sequential
waypoint when your vessel is within the arrival alarm area.
1. Press the
MENU
key to open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the
left button
.
3. Select [WAYPOINT SETTINGS], then press the
left button
.
4. Select [WPT REFRESH SETTING], then press the
left button
.
5. Select [WPT ON VERTICAL LINE] or [ARRIVE ALERT RANGE], then press the
left button
.
6. Close the menu.
