2. Move the cursor onto the waypoint box, then rotate the
scroll wheel
to select the
shape of waypoint mark.
3. Move the cursor onto the destination point, then press the
WPT
key.
The [WAYPOINT ENTRY] window appears.
4. Rotate the
scrollwheel
to assign a number for the waypoint. The default number
indicated is the lowest available waypoint number. If you do not want to change
the default number, go to step 5. Up to 6 digits can be used to name each way-
point. Press the MARK key to move the input cursor to the right, press the MARK
COLOR key to move the input cursor to the left. Press the
MARK
key to move the
cursor to right and press the
MARK COLOR
key to move the cursor to left.
5. Press the
left button
to enter the waypoint.
Note 1:
If the above procedure is done and the cursor was not shown, the waypoint is
entered at the own ship location.
Note 2:
If the number assigned to the new waypoint already exists, the following mes-
sage appears.
Select [RUN] and press the
left button
to overwrite. To cancel the waypoint name
overwrite, select [CANCEL] and assign a new number to the waypoint.
How to enter waypoints by latitude/longitude
Note:
Waypoints which are part of a route that is currently in use cannot be edited.
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the
left button
.
PRESS LEFT BUTTON : ENTER
[CANCEL] : RESTORE DEFAULT
[MARK SELECT][MARK] : CHANGE DIGIT
PRESS RIGHT BUTTON : CLOSE
TURN WHEEL : NUM. ENTRY
