How to show/hide the ship’s mark
How to set the own ship mark
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [CURSOR/OWN SHIP MARK], then
press the
left button
.
3. Select [OWN SHIP MARK], then press the
left
button
.
4. Select [OWN SHIP VECTOR], then press the
left button
.
5. Select [HDG.] or [COURSE], then press the
left button
.
6. Select [OWN SHIP CURR VECTOR], then
press the
left button
.
7. Select [ON], then press the
left button
.
8. Press the
right button
twice to return to the
main menu.
9. Select [TRACK], then press the
left button
.
10. Select [NEXT], then press the
left button
.
11. Select [CURRENT VECTOR SETTING], then press the
left button
.
12. Select the first layer number with scrollwheel and then press the
left button
.
13. Select the second and third layer numbers same as step 12.
14. Press the
MENU
key to close the menu.
How to set the other ship mark
To display the other ship mark, be aware of following:
• This function requires data from AIS transponder, DSB receiver or GPS buoy.
• The own ship’s position data from a navigator is required.
• The appropriate settings are required for data input.
• Set the output setting correctly for a DSB receiver or a GPS buoy.
• Refer to other instructions for TT/AIS symbols.
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [OTHER SHIP’S INFO], then press the
left button
.
3. Select [NEXT], then press the
left button
.
[OTHER SHIP’S INFO 2/2] menu appears.
4. Select [CONSORT DISPLAY] or [GPS BUOY
DISPLAY], then press the
left button
.
5. Select [ON] to display the symbol, then press the
left button
.
Select [OFF] to hide the symbol.
6. Press the
MENU
key to close the menu.
