AIS Messages
You can transmit and receive messages via the AIS. Messages can be registered
twenty maximum. When the messages are overflowed, the earliest message erased
automatically.
How to display the received messages
1. Press the
CURSOR ON/OFF
key, if
the cursor is not shown.
2. Move the cursor onto the envelope
icon
at bottom-right on the
screen, then press the
left button
.
3. Select the message desired, then
press the
left button
.
4. Press the
right button
to close the
menu.
Note 1:
You can open the mail mes-
sage by selecting [RECEIVED MES-
SAGE] from [AIS] on [OTHER SHIPS’
INFO.] menu.
Note 2:
When the [AUTO MESSAGE
DISPLAY] is [OFF] on [AIS] menu, the envelope icon to indicate the arrival of new mail
is not shown.
