5.6.3 Set the registered route as a destination
Set the route as a destination
Note: The following procedures can be operated only when the [ROUTE SELECT] is
set to [IN].
1. Press the MENU key to open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [ROUTES/WAYPOINTS], then press the left button .
3. Select [ROUTE LIST], then press the left button .
4. Select a route to set as a destination, then press TRACK COLOR key and set the
direction of route.
The direction of route will be changed from [DIREC: FWD] to [DIREC: REV] and
vice versa.
[DIREC: FWD]: Navigates to the waypoints in order that they are registered.
[DIREC: REV]: Navigates to the waypoints in reverse order that they are regis-
tered.
5. Press the GO TO key.
The selected route is set as a destination and [SET AS DEST.] will show [DIREC:
FWD] or [DIREC: REV].
6. Close the menu.
A light blue line will be drawn between own ship and a waypoint. The distance,
bearing and TTG (factory default) will be displayed at upper side on the screen.
Skip the waypoint
You can temporarily disregard an unnecessary waypoint from a route. Such as skip-
ping waypoint 4 and directly go to waypoint 3. Follow the procedures below to skip the
selected waypoint and go to the next one.
