3. Select [ORIGIN MARK], then press the left button .
The mark setting window appears.
4. Rotate the scrollwheel to select an origin mark.
The options available for selection are dependent on the type of origin mark se-
lected. For numerical, five numbered origin marks are available; for symbol, five
origin mark symbols are available.
5. Press the right button to close the window.
Origin mark stabilization
To change the stabilization for origin marks, do the following:
1. Open the [MAIN MENU].
2. Select [MARK], then press the
left button .
3. Select [ORIGIN MARK], then press the left button .
4. Select [STAB GND.] or [STAB SEA], then press the left button .
STAB GND.: the origin mark is stabilized based on a fixed geographical location.
STAB SEA: the origin mark moves based on SOG data.
5. Press the MENU key to close the menu.
5.3.2 How to enter an origin mark
The origin mark requires heading and location data.
1. Press the CURSOR ON/OFF key when the cursor is not shown.
2. Move the cursor onto the location to enter an origin mark.
3. Press the
MARK key.
The origin mark appears at the cursor location. The mark box shows range and
heading to the origin mark.
Note 1: When the origin mark is not shown, confirm the mark box indication at left on
the screen. If the mark box shows [OFF], place the cursor onto the mark box and press
the
left button . The mark function will be activated.
Note 2: You can select the origin mark shape from the mark box by rotating the scroll-
wheel. When you select an origin mark here, the mark selected at paragraph 5.3.1 is
replaced with this mark.
5.3.3 How to delete the origin mark
1. Press the CURSOR ON/OFF key when the cursor is not shown.
