configure rip vlan cost

configure rip vlan [<vlan-name> | all] cost <cost>

Description

Configures the cost (metric) of the interface.

Syntax Description

Default

The default setting is 1.

Usage Guidelines

The specified interface cost is added to the cost of the route received through this interface.

Example

The following command configures the cost for the VLAN

finance

to a metric of 3:
