show power budget
Description
Displays the distribution of power and the available power on the switch.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or variables.
Default
N/A.
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to view detailed information about the amount of power available on the switch.
This status information may be useful for your technical support representative if you have a network
problem.
The
show power budget
command displays the:
•
Slot number of the power supply.
•
Current state of the power supply. Options are:
—
Empty: There is no power supply installed.
—
Power Failed: The power supply has failed.
—
Power Off: The power supply is off.
—
Power On: The power supply is on.
•
Watts and voltage amounts of the power supply.
•
Slot number and name of the module installed in the slot.
•
Current state of the slot. Options are:
—
Empty: There is no module installed.
—
Operational: The module is operational.
—
Present: The module is installed but not operational.
•
Watts and voltage amounts of the modules.
Example
The following command displays the distribution of power and the available power on the switch:
