Connectrix ED-64M User Guide

Command Line Interface

config.ficonMS.setState

The functionality of this command is identical to config.features.ficonMS on 
page E-18.

Syntax

ficonMS ficonMSState

Purpose

This command sets the enabled state of the FICON Management 
Server. The FICON Management Server feature key must be installed 
in order to enable the FICON Management Server State.

Parameters

This command has one parameter. 

Command Example

Root> config ficonMS setState 1 

config.ip.ethernet

Syntax

ethernet ipAddress gatewayAddress subnetMask

Purpose

This command sets the Ethernet network settings.

Description

The Telnet connection can be lost when these Ethernet network settings are 
changed.

If the IP address is reconfigured, your Telnet client must be reconnected to 
the new IP address. A new login will be requested.

ficonMSState

Specifies whether the FICON Management 
Server is enabled. Valid values are enable and 
disable

. Boolean 1 and 0 may be substituted as 

values.
