Valvole e controllo gioco di
chiusura
●
Lubrificare lo stelo delle valvole di
aspirazione ed introdurle nella testa
facendole ruotare.
▲
Utilizzando un cacciavite nel
modo raffigurato, per abbassare il
bilanciere di chiusura (7),
con l’altra
mano inserire nello stelo della
valvola il registro di chiusura (13). In
caso di testa usata, partire con il
rimontaggio del registro originale.
Note
Pulire molto accuratamente
registri e semiconi prima di
procedere al montaggio.
Registrazione giochi di
chiusura
▲
Inserire il registro di chiusura (in
caso di teste usate, riutilizzare i
registri originali dopo averli accura-
tamente puliti con alcool) ed i
semiconi nuovi e liberare il
bilanciere per ottenere il
posizionamento all’interno del
registro (13). Per assestare
l’accoppiamento adoperare l’attrezzo
cod.
041.1.055.1A
, inserendolo
come indicato nel
par.“Scomposizione teste”della
Sez.“
Scomposizione motore
”.
Per questo utilizzo è necessario
inserire il registro di apertura sulla
sommità dello stelo valvola e battere
con un martello sulla sommità dello
stelo in dotazione all’attrezzo in
questione.
Note
E’ molto importante che la
testa sia sulla base cod.
041.1.049.1A
affinché la valvola ap-
poggi sul corrispettivo piano in teflon.
●
Prelevare l’albero distribuzione
(14) lato aspirazione della testa
verticale (marcatura “VA”, sul tratto
di albero compreso tra le camme di
apertura).
Questa sigla identifica il lato aspira-
zione o scarico (“A“ o “S”)
e il
montaggio sulla testa verticale o
orizzontale (“V” o “O”).
ESEMPIO: “VA”Albero distribuzione
di aspirazione testa verticale.
Note
I fori di lubrificazione (indicati
con le frecce sulla figura) devono
sempre trovarsi sul lato opposto
distribuzione della testa, dove è
presente un canale per la
distribuzione dell’olio lubrificante.
▲
Posizionare l’albero distribuzione
(14)
nella sede della testa.
Valves and closing clearance
●
Lubricate intake valve stems and
then fit valves into head by turning
them.
▲
Using a screwdriver as shown in
the figure, lower the closing rocker
arm (7) and then fit the closing shim
(13) on valve stem using your free
hand. In case of used head, fit the
original shim first.
Note
Thoroughly clean shims and
collets before reassembling.
Adjusting the closing
clearance
▲
Insert closing shim (if you re-use
cylinder heads, carefully clean with
alcohol original shims before
refitting them) and new valve
collets, release the rocker arm to
properly position shim (13). Settle
coupling surfaces with tool part no.
041.1.055.1A
, insert it as indicated
under “Head disassembly ” in Sect.
“
Engine disassembly
”. For this
operation, fit opening shim on valve
stem top and tap with a hammer on
top of tool handle.
Note
It is of the utmost importance
that cylinder head is on mount part
no.
041.1.049.1A
so that valve rests
on relevant Teflon surface.
●
Take out the camshaft (14), on
vertical head intake side (marked
“VA” between the opening cams).
“A” stands for intake whereas
“S”stands for exhaust. “V” stands
for vertical head, whereas “0”
stands for horizontal head.
EXAMPLE: “VA”means vertical head
intake camshaft.
Note
Lubrication holes (as shown in
the figures by the arrows) should
always be on the side opposite to
head timing side, where a
lubrication oil duct is located.
▲
Seat the camshaft (14)
into the
head.
