Springs
Measure the free length “L” of each
spring:
- Minimum length:
42.1 mm .
Change springs which are below this
measurement.
Drum
Make sure that the drum grooves for
the driven plates are not worn out.
Also check for proper conditions of
the ramps of the anti-slip device, on
the drum back side, and the anti-slip
spring seats, on the front side.
Degrease the drum, especially the
ramps.
Spray MOLIKOTE D321R (part no.
DUCATI 944600835) onto the ramps
staying 5-6 cm away.
Spray it on the mating surface with
the flange hub.
Flange
Make sure that the flange stud bolts
are not bent or excessively
scratched. Also, check for proper
working conditions of the anti-slip
device ramps.
Carefully check inner flange for
cracks.
Carefully degrease the flange, pay
special attention to the ramps.
Protect with rubber paper the
screwed disc that engages on the
clutch plates.
Spray the same product on the
ramps following the same
procedure as for the drum.
Spray the product on the hub outer
surface (drum centering).
Caution
Do not spray the product on
all of the part; direct the spray to the
indicated areas only. Check that the
product is applied evenly, when
applying it for the first time, some
areas might be not completely
covered with product. Should this be
the case, spray again.
Allow at least 5 minutes before
fitting the drum to the flange (time
necessary for product
polymerization).
Molle
Misurare la lunghezza libera “L” di
ogni molla:
- Lunghezza minima:
42,1 mm .
Sostituire sempre ogni molla che
risulti inferiore a tale limite.
Tamburo
Controllare le scanalature dove
appoggiano i dischi condotti: non
devono presentare evidenti segni di
usura. Verificare le condizioni delle
rampe di salita del dispositivo
antisaltellamento, sulla parete
posteriore del tamburo, e quelle
delle sedi di lavoro delle estremità
della molla antisaltellamento, sulla
parete frontale.
Sgrassare il tamburo, con particolare
attenzione alle rampe.
Spruzzare lo spray MOLIKOTE
D321R (cod. DUCATI 944600835) da
circa 5-6 cm di distanza, orientando il
getto sulle rampe.
Spruzzare sulla superficie di
accoppiamento con il mozzo della
flangia.
Flangia
Controllare le colonnette della
flangia: non devono risultare distorte
o eccessivamente segnate.
Verificare inoltre le condizioni delle
piste di salita del dispositivo
antisaltellamento.
Controllare accuratamente che la
flangia interna non presenti cricche.
Sgrassare bene la flangia, con
particolare attenzione alle rampe.
Proteggere mediante carta gommata
il disco avvitato che si impegna sui
dischi frizione.
Spruzzare sulle rampe lo spray con la
medesima procedura usata per il
tamburo.
Spruzzare il prodotto sulla superficie
esterna del mozzo (centraggio del
tamburo).
Importante
Il prodotto non va spruzzato su
tutto il pezzo; il getto va orientato
solo sulle zone indicate. Verificare
che il prodotto sia steso
uniformemente, perché alla prima
applicazione potrebbero rimanere
delle zone non completamente
ricoperte. In tal caso spruzzare
nuovamente.
Dopo l’applicazione attendere
almeno 5 minuti prima di montare il
tamburo sulla flangia (tempo
necessario per la polimerizzazione
del prodotto).
