Montaggio bilancieri di
apertura e controllo gioco di
apertura
▲
Procedere al montaggio dei
bilancieri di apertura (15) e dei
relativi perni (16) sul lato aspirazione.
Detti perni devono avere la
marcatura “1” in testa.
▲
Inserire il perno (16), opportuna-
mente lubrificato, dall’esterno fino in
battuta.
Note
Il perno deve sporgere dalla
superficie laterale della testa: in
questo modo assolve alla funzione
di centraggio per le cartelle laterali
della testa.
▲
Sollevare il bilanciere (15) ed inse-
rire sull’estremità delle valvole di
aspirazione il registro di apertura (36);
in caso di teste usate, riutilizzare i
registri originali dopo averli
accuratamente puliti e lubrificati.

Far ruotare i registri sulla sommità
dello stelo valvola in modo di
accertarsi che si siano assestati.

Prelevare l’albero distribuzione
e posizionarlo nella sede della testa.
●
Verificare con spessimetro,
tenendo premuto l’albero contro la
testa, il gioco presente tra registro di
apertura (36) e diametro base della
camma di apertura sull’albero
distribuzione. Deve risultare:
0,14÷0,19 mm
per l’aspirazione;
0,19÷0,24 mm per lo scarico.
Note
Controllare il gioco di apertura
cercando di tenere lo spessimetro in
posizione parallela alla superficie su-
periore del registro e facendo atten-
zione a non aprire le valvole.

Verificare con spessimetro,
tenendo premuto l’albero contro la
testa, il gioco presente tra pattino del
bilanciere di chiusura (7) e il diametro
base della camma di chiusura sull’al-
bero distribuzione. Deve risultare
0,13÷0,18 mm
. Se così non risulta,
rimuovere il registro di chiusura (13)
come indicato nella
Sez.“ Scomposizione motore ” al
par.“Scomposizione teste” .
La misura del registro di chiusura è
incisa sul fianco del registro stesso.

Verificare il gioco su tutti i bilan-
cieri di chiusura inserendo l’albero
distribuzione corrispondente. I giochi
devono risultare compresi tra i relativi
valori indicati nella tabella seguente:

Push the shaft against the head
and, using a feeler gauge, check
clearance between the shoe of the
closing rocker arm (7) and the base
diameter of the closing cam on the
camshaft: it must be
0.13 - 0.18 mm . If not, remove
closing shim (13) as indicated in
section “
Engine disassembly
”
under “Head disassembly ” .
Closing shim size is punched on
the side of the shim.

Fit the proper camshaft to check
the clearance of all closing rocker
arms. Clearance values should be
included within the limits set in the
following table:

Fit the opening rocker arms (15)
and shafts (16) on intake side.
Shafts should be marked “1” at
the top.

Lubricate the shaft (16) and
then fit it from the outside. Drive it
fully home.
Note
The shaft should come out
from the head side: in this way, it
works as centering part for head
side covers.

Lift the rocker arm (15) and fit
the opening shim (36) on intake
valve ends. In case of used heads,
use original shims. Clean and
lubricate the original shims before
fitting.

Turn shims on valve stem to
help setting.
▲
Take and seat the camshaft into
the head.
●
Push the shaft against the head
and, using a feeler gauge, check
clearance between the opening
shim (36) and the base diameter of
the opening cam on the camshaft.
It must be:
0.14 - 0.19 mm for intake and
0.19 - 0.24 mm for exhaust.
Note
While checking the
clearance, keep the feeler gauge
parallel to shim top and do not
open the valves.
