Note
Il pacco registro di aspirazione
è diverso da quello dei registri di
scarico. Prestare attenzione durante
il montaggio.
●
Se così non risulta, rimuovere il
registro di apertura (16) e sostituirlo
con uno di altezza adeguata per
ottenere il gioco prescritto. Per la
misurazione del registro di apertura
riutilizzare il calibro 88765.1129 ed
un comparatore.
●
Verificare il gioco su tutti i
bilancieri di apertura inserendo
l’albero distribuzione corrispondente
(vedi “Schema montaggio bilancieri
e perni”).
Alberi distribuzione
●
Verificare che gli alberi distribu-
zione risultino integri e puliti. In caso
di alberi usati, riprendere eventuali
tracce di lavoro sulla superficie delle
camme e dei supporti, utilizzando
tela abrasiva fine in appoggio su un
supporto piano.
●
Verificare che le superfici di accop-
piamento della testa e dei supporti
degli alberi distribuzione risultino
piane e pulite da eventuali tracce di
guarnizione. Passare liquido sgras-
sante sulla testa, in corrispondenza
dei supporti di banco degli alberi
distribuzione.
●
Lubrificare con olio grafitato le
portate sulla testa degli alberi
distribuzione.

Installare gli alberi distribuzione
nei rispettivi alloggiamenti della
testa, ruotandoli per distribuire
uniformemente l’olio applicato.
●
Verificare che sulla testa risultino
installate le boccole di centraggio
(17) in corrispondenza dei supporti,
sia sul lato distribuzione che su
quello opposto.
Note
Può succedere che una
boccola di centraggio rimanga
installata sul supporto, una volta
rimosso. In questo caso, se la
boccola non risulta danneggiata, si
può ugualmente procedere al
montaggio, senza rimuoverla dalla
sede.
●
Prelevare i supporti (18) e (19)
degli alberi distribuzione e applicare
un cordone uniforme di pasta
sigillante THREE BOND, nei punti
indicati dalle frecce nell’illustrazione
a fianco.
●
Lubrificare con olio grafitato le
portate degli alberi distribuzione sui
supporti.
●
Orientare i supporti disponendoli
con i riferimenti in corrispondenza
degli stessi punzonati sulla testa
(come mostrato in figura).
Camshafts
●
Make sure that camshafts are
undamaged and clean. In case of
used camshafts, rub scratches on
working surfaces of cams and
supports with a fine emery cloth. Put
cams and supports on a flat surface
while rubbing.
●
Ensure that mating surfaces of
heads and camshaft supports are flat
and clean. Degrease the head at
camshaft supports.
●
Lubricate camshaft-to-head
mating surfaces with graphitized oil.

Fit camshafts into their seats into
the head. Turn them for even
lubrication.
●
Ensure that centering bushes (17)
are properly fitted at supports, both
on timing side and on the other side.
Note
A centering bush may remain
into the support, after it has been
removed. In this case, reassemble
without removing the bush if it is
undamaged.
●
Take out camshaft supports (18)
and (19) and apply a continuous
bead of THREE BOND sealant, as
shown by the arrows in the figure.
●
Lubricate camshaft bearing
surfaces on supports with
graphitized oil.
●
Position the supports so that
locators are aligned with head
locators, as shown in the figure.
Note
Intake shim pack is different
with respect to exhaust one. Be very
careful at reassembly.
●
Should this not be the case,
remove the opening shim (16) and
replace with a shim of proper
thickness so to have the required
clearance. To measure opening
shim, re-use the gauge part no.
88765.1129 and a dial gauge.
●
Fit the proper camshaft and check
clearance of all opening rocker arms
(see “Assembly diagram of rocker
arms and shafts”).
