CONTROLLO TRAFERRO
SENSORE MOTORE
▲
Montare il sensore Pick-up (1).
❍
Rimuovere il tappo a vite che
chiude il foro di ispezione sul
semicarter sinistro (2).
▲
Introdurre dal foro la lama di uno
spessimetro, posizionandola tra
l’estremità del sensore e il dente
della corona rinvio distribuzione.
●
Verificare che il gioco presente
risulti 0,8÷0,05 mm . In caso
contrario rimuovere il sensore e
modificare lo spessore della
guarnizione.
▲
Rimontare il tappo con
guarnizione e bloccarlo alla coppia
prescritta.
▲
Montare il bocchettone di
aspirazione acqua orizzontale (3) sul
coperchio alternatore, applicando
bloccante prescritto, e bloccandolo
alla coppia di serraggio prescritta.
Note
In caso di rimontaggio di un
coperchio alternatore completo, il
bocchettone di aspirazione può
impedire lo smontaggio del sensore
motore.
●
Effettuare la stessa verifica per il
sensore numero di giri.
MONTAGGIO POMPA OLIO
●
La pompa olio prima del
montaggio sul carter deve risultare
completamente piena di olio motore
e completa di valvola by-pass (3).
▲
Posizionare le boccole di
riferimento (4) e gli anelli OR (5) e
(6) di tenuta olio in corrispondenza
dei canali di lubrificazione del
carter.
Note
Gli anelli OR (5) e (6) sono
differenti. Quello di diametro
maggiore (6), va posizionato a fianco
della boccola di riferimento inferiore.

Posizionare la pompa olio sul
carter e bloccare le viti alla coppia
prescritta, lubrificando filetto e
sottotesta con grasso prescritto.
●
Controllare che non vi sia
interferenza tra pignone motore ed
ingranaggio comando pompa olio.
CHECKING THE ENGINE
SENSOR AIR GAP
▲
Fit Pick-up sensor (1).
❍
Remove the screw plug for the
inspection hole into the LH-side
casing (2).
▲
Fit a feeler gauge from the hole.
Position the gauge between the
sensor end and the timing lay gear
●
Ensure that the gap is 0.8-0.05
mm
. If not, remove the sensor and
use a seal with a different thickness.
▲
Refit the plug and its seal and
tighten to the specified torque.
▲
Fit the horizontal intake water
filler (3) onto the alternator cover.
Apply the specified sealant and then
tighten to the specified torque.
Note
If a complete alternator cover
is fitted, the intake filler might be in
the way when removing the engine
sensor.
●
Also check the rpm sensor.
ASSEMBLING THE OIL PUMP
●
When fitting the oil pump, ensure
that it is full with engine oil and has
the by-pass valve (3).
▲
Fit the locating bushes (4) and the
OR seals (5) and (6) into the casing
lubrication ducts.
Note
The OR seals (5) and (6) are
not interchangeable. The larger one
(6) should be fitted close to the
lower locating bush.
▲
Fit the oil pump onto the casing.
Lubricate the screw threading and
underhead with the specified grease
and then tighten to the specified
torque.
●
Ensure that both sprocket and oil
pump drive gear can move freely.
