Procedure
Step 1
Select Main Menu > ALARM > Video Detection > Motion Detection.
Step 2
Select a channel and then click
to enable the function.
Step 3
Configure the detection region.
1. Click Setting next to Region.
2. Point to the middle top of the page.
3. Select one region, for example, click .
4. Drag on the screen to select the region that you want to detect.
5. Configure the parameters.

Parameter
Description
Name
Enter a name for the region.
Sensitivity
Every region has an individual sensitivity value.
The bigger the value is, the easier to trigger an alarm.
Threshold
Adjust the threshold for motion detection. Every region of every channel
has an individual threshold.
You can configure up to four detection regions. When any one of the four regions
activates motion detection alarm, the channel where this region belongs to will
activate motion detection alarm.
6. Right-click the page to exit.
Step 4
Click Setting next to Schedule to configure the alarm schedule.
Step 5
Configure the anti-dither period.
If multiple alarms occur during the anti-dither period, the system only record the event
once.

Configure alarm linkage. For details, see
Network Video Recorder_User's Manual
. This
section uses associating siren as an example.
Enable Alarm Hub, select the alarm hub as needed, and then select siren as needed.
Step 7
Click Apply.
5.10.5.2 Video Loss
Background Information
When the video loss occurs, the system performs alarm linkage actions.
