Working with Clusters and Match Rules
b. Select the server pool that this new rule will
precede
using the
Next Match Rule
drop-down list and click on
Commit
. The new rule will appear on the navigation
tree in within the cluster from which is was created.
c. On the match rule
Configuration
screen (tab) select the
Server Pool
that will be
used for load balancing with the
Persist
checkbox disabled.
3. Click on the
Expression Editor
button to display the Expression editor.
a. Leaving the
any()
expression in place, drag and drop the
host_suffix
from the
Functions
pane to the
Expression Workbox
beside the
any()
expression.
b. Type “
testdonotpersisteexample.com
” into the
hostname suffix()
function
. The new
expression should appear as follows.
c. Click on
continue
.
4. Uncheck the
Persist
checkbox and
Disable
checkboxes on the
Configuration
tab.
5. Click on
Commit
to save your changes to the
nopersist
rule.
You have now
disabled
persistence for incoming requests that have a URI containing the
hostname "testexample.com".
