Chapter 2: Technical Reference

Print Shift Correction

Print gaps 

 occur when doing bidirectional printing, due to changes in the

 

NOTE

weight of the BJ cartridge and mechanical errors. This gap is corrected 
adjusting the carriage drive motor load and the carriage position, which 
determined logically 

 the number of stepping pulses. Gap detection 

performed before the start of printing, during the home position detection
operation.
