General Description  2-21 

NEC ESMPRO 

The NEC ESMPRO is server management software that runs on the OS. The NEC ESMPRO includes the NEC ESMPRO 

Manager for the server monitoring terminal and the NEC ESMPRO Agent for the server. 

NOTE:

 For details of major functions of the NEC ESMPRO, system configuration and setups 

with the NEC ESMPRO, see Chapter 6. 

Available functions of the NEC ESMPRO depend on the OS you install. Ask your service 

representative for details. 

 

Maintenance Tools 

The Maintenance Tools is used for maintenance and fault analysis of the server. 
This tool is usually used by the service representative. 
 

SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC UTILITY 

The system diagnostic utility contained in the ExpressBuilder is useful to detect hardware failures. See Chapter 7 for details.
