Configuring Your Server  4-63 

Reconstruction 

Described below are procedures based on assumption: 

Add a Hard Disk Drive to a RAID5 VD configured with three Hard Disk Drives to make a RAID5 VD configured with four 

Hard Disk Drives. 

1. 

Start WebBIOS. 
Make sure that the status for the added Hard Disk Drive is indicated as "Unconfigured Good" in the right frame of 

the Top Menu. 

2. 

Select a VD you want to reconstruct (VD 0 in the example) from the right frame of Top Menu. 

 

3. 

Setting menu for VD is displayed. 

 

4. 

On the right of the screen, items required for reconstruction are displayed.
