9-76  Upgrading Your Server 

BACKUP DEVICE 

The server has one slot for installing a backup device such as a magnetic tape drive. 

IMPORTANT:  

„

 

A SCSI cable K410-147(00) and PCI SCSI controller card are necessary for installing a SCSI 
backup device. 

„

 

Install only a backup device specified by Bull. 

„

 

The size of a backup device which can be installed in this server is as follows: 
Width: Up to about 9 cm (3.5 inches) 
Height: Up to about 4 cm (1.6 inches)
