Upgrading Your Server  9-93 

OPTICAL DISK DRIVE 

You may replace the factory-installed optical disk drive with an optional DVD drive. 

IMPORTANT:

 Be sure to use the DVD drive authorized by Bull.

Replacement Procedure 

Take the following steps to replace the factory-installed optical disk drive with an optional DVD drive. 

1. 

See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" described earlier to prepare. 

2. 

Pull out the server from the rack. 

3. 

Remove the drive cover and logic cover. 

4. 

Remove the cable while holding both ends of cable fixing bracket of the optical disk drive.
