PARAMETER FILE CREATOR

"Parameter File Creator" is a tool to create [Parameter file] that is used for configuring the server with the Express Setup (see

Chapter 5 for details).
If you use the Parameter file created by the Express Setup and Parameter File Creator to operate the setup, the setup can be

done automatically except for a few key inputs (to confirm the specification). Also, you can install the system with the same

specification as before when re-installing the system. We recommend you create [Parameter file] to setup the servers from

ExpressBuilder.
When using a floppy disk, a USB floppy disk drive is required.

IMPORTANT:

You cannot create [Parameter file] for Microsoft Windows Server 2003 x64

Editions.

NOTE:

You can install Windows Server 2003 without [Parameter file]. Also, you can

modify/newly create [Parameter file] during the setup with ExpressBuilder.
