: Number of packets that can be buffered on this interface, ranges from 0 to
100. By default, the value of
max-threshold
is 30.
Description
Using the
dialer queue-length
command, you can configure the number of packets
which comply with the "permit" statement that can be buffered before a link is set up.
Using the
undo dialer queue-length
command, you can restore the default number
of the packets that can be buffered.
In the link establishing process, the packets which comply with the "permit" statement
are held in the buffer queue to wait for transmission as soon as the link is set up. The
setting of
packets
decides the queue length. If the length is set to 0, the outgoing
packets before the link on the interface is set up will be discarded.
