Description
Using the bridge set command, you can add a port to the bridge set. Using the undo
bridge set command, you can cancel the port from the bridge set.
By default, no interfaces are added to the bridge set.
As for a bridge, bridging can only be implemented on those interfaces belonging to the
same bridge set.
Example
# Add the Ethernet interface 0 to bridge set 1.
[3Com] interface ethernet 0
[3Com-Ethernet0] bridge-set 1

bridge-set : Bridge set number, an integer in the range of 1 to 63.
ieee : Ethernet Spanning Tree Protocol
Description
Using the bridge stp ieee command, you can configure the STP version supported by
a bridge set. Using the undo bridge stp ieee command, you can cancel the specified
STP version supported by the bridge set.
By default, the bridge set supports STP version of ieee.
There are several STP versions that are not compatible. Varied STP versions may
result in the bridging loops. STP version of IEEE is applied to the Ethernet ports of
3Com series routers.
