Description
Using the
qos wred
command, you can configure the application of WRED
(Weighted Random Early Detection) on the interface. Using the
undo qos wred
command, you can restore the default queue dropping method.
By default, the queue dropping method is to drop the tail packets.
WRED, which cannot be used alone or with other queuing algorithm jointly, can only
be used together with WFQ. Before the start-up of WRED, therefore, WFQ must have
been applied on the specified interface already. Besides, only on physical interfaces
shall WRED be enabled, which can not work on any logic interface.
