Description
Using the
peer timers
command, you can configure the keepalive interval for the peer.
Using the
undo peer timers
command, you can restore the default values of these
time intervals.
The timer configured with this command is of higher preference than that configured
with
timer bgp
command.
Example
# Specify the keepalive interval and holdtime interval of the peer “test” to 60 seconds
and 180 seconds respectively.

Parameter
group-name
: Group name.
peer-address
: Peer’s IP address.
version-number
: BGP version number, ranging from 2 to 4. By default, it is 4.
Description
Using the
peer version
command, you can configure the BGP version for the peer or
peer group. Using the
undo peer version
command, you can restore the default BGP
version for the peer or peer group.
When local router receives a local network meeting the configuration, it will advertise
the route.
