Quiet
Specify whether to enable the quiet timer.
After an 802.1X user fails to be authenticated, the device will keep
quiet for a period of time defined by
Quiet Period
. During the quiet
period, the device will not perform 802.1X authentication on the
user.
Quiet Period
Specify the value of the quiet timer.
Retry Times
Specify the maximum number of attempts to send an authentication
request to a client.
Within a specified period of time (defined by the
TX Period
or
Supplicant Timeout Time
option), if the device does not receive
the response from the client, the device will determine whether to
send an authentication request again according to the value defined
by this parameter.
1 means that the device will send an authentication request only
once even if it does not receive any response from the client within
the set interval. 2 means that the device will send an authentication
request again if it does not receive any response from the client
within the set interval, and so forth.

Specify the transmission interval.
Handshake
Period
Specify the handshake interval.
Re-Authenticati
on Period
Specify the re-authentication interval.
Supplicant
Timeout Time
Specify the client timeout interval.

to enter the 802.1X configuration page, as
shown in
Figure 1-10

Ports With 802.1X Enabled
area, the 802.1X configuration on ports are
listed. Click
Add
to enter the port 802.1X configuration page, as shown in
Figure 1-11
.
