Cabling and Fuses

Locating the Blown Fuse

In case any one of these fuses blows (except for the Power Input Fuse), a system alarm

is immediately displayed on the PI screen indicating which PS-ATS unit has failed

(PS1, PS2 or PS3). The technician must determine which of the three PS1, 2, or 3 fuses

has blown. The fuses located on the front panel of the control shelf have a red indicator

which can be clearly viewed at the top of the fuse case once it has blown. If none of

those fuses has a red

tip

, then the F1 fuse inside the indicated PS1, 2, or 3 has blown

and must be changed.
